QuickFire is a new name in fire suppression
but its products are thoroughly designed, tested and accredited.
Starting in 1981, we have invested over 25 years of research
and development to perfect our unique and powerful fire extinguishing
agent, Envirogel®.
Envirogel's unique properties have enabled us to develop the
Fire Foe™ self-activating, fully automatic, stand alone,
use-and-dispose extinguisher tube that makes automatic fire
protection an affordable, everyday proposition.
Both products have been submitted for testing to the US Federal
Aviation Administration, the US Army Test Center and Research
Laboratory and US Coastguard. Fire Foe™ and Envirogel®
are accredited by US Underwriters Laboratory and US Coastguard.
Envirogel® is SNAP approved by US Environment Protection
Agency who has declared it an acceptable Halon substitute in
streaming and flooding applications and safe for use in occupied
spaces. Independent research by NASA approved Wyle Laboratory
and Michigan State University has confirmed that Envirogel®
is harmless to micro-circuitry and machinery.
The Montreal Protocol of 1987 banned the use of Halon gas in
fire extinguishers. Since then the industry has relied on the
significantly less effective Halon Replacements (HFCs). Our
research confirmed that, by gelling these HFC gasses with micro-ground
powders, the fire-kill efficiency of the gasses is greatly enhanced.
In doing so we have created Envirogel®, a highly efficient
and cost effective fire extinguishing gel.
Independent testing has proved that, pound for pound, Envirogel
is 100% more effective than its individual HFC gasses in isolation
and 25% more effective than Halon itself, making Envirogel®
a highly efficient extinguishing agent. In 2002 our Research
Company and majority shareholder was awarded the US Environment
Protection Agency Administrator's Award for Outstanding Accomplishments
by a Small Business and in 2004 they received the Product Innovation
Award at IBEX (International Boat builders Exhibition) Miami.
Following recent investment in an exclusive factory in Fort
Wayne Indiana for the manufacture of both Envirogel® and
Fire Foe™, a new commercial operation, QuickFire has been
established to exclusively handle the worldwide sales and marketing
of both existing and future products incorporating Envirogel®
and Fire Foe™ technology.
After successful test marketing in USA and Australia, Fire Foe™
tubes with Envirogel® are now in full commercial production
and are available across the USA through our expanding dealer
network. QuickFire is now actively engaged on a program to identify
and appoint distributors in key markets throughout the world. |
